“ I have been frequenting the Sassool off Lead Mine Road for years and years but this was my first time at the Cary location. They had all the same favorites. Sassool is the only restaurant that I could eat at every day and not grow tired of. My go to is the pick four platter and there are so many choices and variations! On this particular day I selected tuna salad, quinoa tabbouleh, beet salad and kale salad. All were absolutely phenomenal. The tuna salad is so flavorful and packed with tuna. Service was good -- they tried to keep the line moving as quickly as possible. Most choices here are healthy and they have so many gluten free options. Truly one of my favorite restaurants in the area. ”

“ Sassool almost doesn't need a review because this is Cary's well known hub for the absolutely best Mediterranean food. The vibe is friendly and you will notice so many vegetarian, vegan and meat loaded options. They carry beer and wine and all kinds of likable beverages. You order deli style and find a table. The shawarma, chicken kabob are a hit with the family and for me- falafel with 3 sides are the win. Salads galore and the hummus is probably the best in town. Pita is complimentary at check out. They participate in Go Play Save so you could get a BOGO. They used to do a half price wine Wednesday and I'm not sure they do it now. Sassool is a burst of flavor and distinctly different from the variety of flavors we have in the city. It's a great place to hand out with friends or a night out with family, hanging out at the patio or to just stop by and shop the unique food store they have. I forgot to add- the baklava is OUTSTANDING but don't let it prevent you from getting the meringue like covered chocolate angel kisses or the coconut pineapple cake, you will surprise yourself at the wonderfully light and satisfying dessert options! ”

“ This was a cute little casual spot to grab some good tasting healthier options for lunch or dinner. I ordered the kabob plate, the chicken was delicious! That grilled flavor and juicy chicken is what's going to make me come back again. I also had the kale salad for one of my sides and it was delicious. I had the Lebanese rice which was pretty good as well. The cabbage delight was okay, I might try a different side next time. Service was ok. Clean space. All in all this was pretty good and I will be back. I give it a 4.5/5 because they ran out of fresh pita bread when there weren't many folks in the restaurant so we had to wait for a while until it came out (after our food was already out). Great place, will be back! ”

“ Sassool, located at the Shoppes of Kildaire on 1347 Kildaire Farm Rd in Cary, is an incredible Mediterranean find. With everything freshly made and packed with indescribable flavors, it's a must-visit. The 2 Kabob combo--complete with rice, pita, and a black bean salad--was outstanding, and the Greek Salad with chicken kabob was equally delicious. The cozy, café-like atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff made our first visit even better. While the line can get long, it's worth the wait. We'll definitely be back to explore more of this authentic gem. Highly recommend! ”

“ Tasty Lebanese lunch spot. We visited Sassool on a Saturday morning, and it was fairly empty. At this restaurant, you order and pay at the counter and take a number and your food is brought out to you. Most of the sides come from warming trays and are given to you before you pay for your meal. I tried the grilled veggie sandwich and mjadarah as a side. The sandwich was excellent with a healthy helping of veggies. The mjadarah had an interesting flavor and was a hearty dish. Overall, I enjoyed my healthy lunch at Sassool and would recommend them for lunch. ”

“ I am a pretty picky eater, but I do like Turkish Food (a similar cuisine), so when Lebanese friend mentioned coming to Sassool, I was game! The menu has a lot of nice meal options available. We ordered our food at the counter and someone brought our meals out to our table. I had a spinach pizzette, it was awesome! I sampled a bit of my friend's Baba Ghanouj, so tasty. The highlight for me was the fresh pita bread, absolutely mouth watering. The food was so flavorful! My friend loves this place too, so it's the real deal. I can't wait to come back and eat here again. The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to Trader Joe's, so come grab a meal before you do your grocery shopping. ”

“ We are familiar with Neomonde, their sister restaurants, but had never tried one of the family's Sassool restaurants. We had an offer from a local discount dining club and decided to go on a Sunday night. We thought it would be slow but this location was pretty busy. Lucky that they know how to serve you quickly. We got the stuffed eggplant special and the pick three combo. Oh my God, the pita bread they gave us was warm and delicious. If we lived closer, we'd definitely come here more often. They are fast casual, and similar to the Neomonde branded restaurants. There are so many options, but you can't really go wrong. ”

“ Their pizzettes are all very delicious! I got the spinach and feta one a while back, and that's probs my favorite. The tomato and olive one was delightful as well. The service is always top-notch as well! My hands were full, so the cashier helped carry some of our stuff over to our table, which was quite nice of him. I always leave a hefty tip even tho there's not much need for it. The ambiance is nice, very family friendly. They also have a grocery store attached to the main food service area! ”
